Straight Tallow

Rendering tallow is not a hard process, just takes some time. If you are interested in tallow for your own purposes, but want to avoid the mess - here you are! Offered in quart jars or "cooking cubes." Quart jars a poured and cooled; pints of cooking cubes are offered in pint tupperware, typically weighing around 12oz. Tallow is a fairly hard when cooled (think a little harder than coconut oil), so the cubes make it much easier to handle for your personal use. They are perfect for cooking (although I do not officially recommend cooking for legal purposes)! With a higher smoke point than other cooking oils, they make a delightful sear on steaks or meats, even grilled cheese sandwiches. Not USDA/FDA approved.
